Some of the biggest designers in the industry will also get together to talk about entrepreneurship and the challenges of business including Steven Alan, Peter Som, Ruthie Davis and Simon Spurr.

The event will be co-chaired by Barbara Kolsun, professor of fashion law and director of Cardozo’s FAME (Fashion Arts Media and Entertainment) programme and Frederick Mostert, chair of the digital communications centre at Kings College in London and former chief intellectual property counsel and chief legal counsel of luxury group Richemont. Luxury global trends in a disruptive world will be highlighted, which includes a look at robotics and AI, cybercrisis and security, sustainability and how the business of luxury is interacting with the world of technology. The issues of design protection in luxury goods and the anti-counterfeiting wars will come under the microscope.
