Akin Gump wins Bingham junior lawyers in London

Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld has won over 21 junior lawyers from Bingham McCutchen and taken on Bingham's City centre lease.

The lawyers are made up of 18 associates and five counsel. They follow 27 more senior lawyers in London, Frankfurt and Hong Kong who made the jump in September.

Partner conference

Meanwhile, Morgan Lewis - in the late stages of negotiating a merger with Bingham - is having its annual partner conference this week. They are not expected to vote on the merger. Discussions are continuing. Source: Legal Week
