Allen & Overy’s Paris-based TMT group head Ahmed Baladi is leaving the firm to join Gibson Dunn, taking with him counsel Vera Lukic and associates Emmanuelle Bartoli and Adelaide Cassanet. Gibson Dunn managing partner and chairman Ken Doran commented that the hires came in response to growing demand for advice on data privacy, cybersecurity, digital transformation and outsourcing matters. He commented: ‘Ahmed’s experience and expertise will add greater depth to our ability to address these issues.’ A specialist in technology transactions and outsourcing projects, Mr Baladi has been with A&O since 2001 and made partner at the firm in 2010.
