CC partners encouraged to work from home

Clifford Chance partners based in London are being encouraged to work from home - as a way of setting an example to the rest of the firm of the benefits of agile working.

The move comes from London managing partner David Bickerton. In an exclusive interview, he told The Lawyer: 'Here is a virtuous circle so the more that flexibility is seen to work, the more it will continue to be accepted.' The firm has just leased off half of its office space in Canary Wharf to Deutsche Bank - although this was done to use up surplus space and is not a sign of forthcoming job cuts. Source: The Lawyer
