Dentons expands to Luxembourg through 34-lawyer firm

Dentons is merging with OPF Partners, taking on its nine partners and 25 other lawyers.

The merger is due to happen on 1 January. Joe Andrew, chair of Dentons, describes the merger as the firm's 'tenth transformative initiative in 2015'.  

Investment fund sector

Evan Lazar, chair of the Dentons board in Europe, said: 'Luxembourg plays a key role in the global and European investment fund and private equity sector, which is one of our core areas of focus and strategy.'

Pinpointed legal services

Frederic Feyten, managing partner of OPF, said: 'We have always been committed to innovatively supporting local and international clients on the full spectrum of their Luxembourg projects.
