Ex-Fieldfisher secretary claims she was assaulted by Paris head

Fieldfisher faces an employment tribunal hearing in September from a secretary claming €120,000 for unfair dismissal, unpaid overtime and the 'humiliating conditions' of her dismissal and departure.

The secretary claims that she was dismissed with no notice when she asked to be paid for the 'hundreds' of hours of overtime that she had worked. She alleges that Bruno Paccioni, the managing partner of the Paris office, assaulted her and that she was told to leave there and then.

Nine offices

A preliminary hearing this month has fixed the date of 21 September for the hearing. The woman is represented by Avi Bitton who sucessfully argued an unfair dismissal case against his own former employer, Clifford Chance. Fieldfisher has 400 lawyers in nine offices around the world.
