The UK arm of the Anglo-Canadian firm has promoted five lawyers, three of who are based in Birmingham and two in London. The promotions are significantly greater than last year when only two partners were added after the merger of Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co and Canada’s Gowlings.

Varied expertise

The lawyers with expertise in real estate, construction, pensions and litigation - will join the partnership on 1st May. The layers include Sarah Galvin, Felicity Lindsay both in the London office and Mark Stephenson, Liz Gane and Samantha Holland from the Birmingham office.

Canadian promotions

The news comes after the Canadian arm of the firm announced this January that 19 lawyers had been made up across the firm’s offices in Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary, Hamilton and Toronto.
