Google slap for death-penalty juror

A prospective juror in Florida ignored a judge's written warning to not research a death-penalty murder trial and may now face some time inside himself.

Be careful what you search for...

When Hillsborough Circuit Judge William Fuente found out that Vishnu Singh had ‘googled’ Kenneth Ray Jackson -- charged with raping and fatally stabbing a 50-year-old mother of three in 2007 – and discussed what he had found with other jurors, he angrily told Mr Singh to leave a valid address with the bailiffs and prepare to go to gaol when he is called back, reports the Tampa Bay Times.
Previous attempts to try Mr Jackson had failed after lawyers could not find 12 acceptable jurors from a pool of 60, with many saying they could not impose the death penalty under any circumstances.
