Hogan and Bakers start to seek out high flyers from poor backgrounds

Hogan Lovells and Baker & McKenzie are installing software which will help them spot recruitment candidates which lack sparking CVs because of their underprivileged backgrounds but who have the potential to rise high.

The two practices are to begin using the 'Rare Contextual Recruitment System' software in their London bases on the 2015/16 graduate recruitment season. Potential candidates are identified by characteristics such as post code, the schools they went to, whether they were eligible for free school meals, if they were refugees or were brought up by refugees and if they were the first to attend university in thier household.
