CAM is the latest firm to turn to machine-learning and artificial intelligence technologies to help boost the speed, efficiency and accuracy of its delivery model for legal services. As one of the most prominent in an evolving group of competing providers, Kira Systems’ offering has already won favour with several big-name global firms including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, DLA Piper and Clifford Chance. CAM is joining their ranks at a time when local firms in India are bracing themselves for a new wave of legal market liberalisation that will likely stiffen competition with multinational competitors. According to Kira Systems co-founder and chief executive Noah Waisberg, CAM is the first Indian law firm to sign a contract with Kira.
