Jones Day picks up Middle East finance head from HSF

Herbert Smith Freehills' regional lynchpin Nadim Khan is making the switch to Jones Day.

Laborant

Mr Khan left HSF in May, having joined the firm in 2007 alongside partner Zubair Mir to launch its flagship Dubai office. Now, it has surfaced that the renowned Middle East specialist has taken up a new position with Jones Day’s own Dubai-based projects and infrastructure practice.

Regional expertise

Mr Khan will be serving as Jones Day’s head of Middle East banking and finance, as well as head of its global Islamic finance group. Jones Day projects and infrastructure head Arman Galledari commented: ‘Nadim’s arrival enhances our ability to help our clients develop and execute complex, large-scale projects across the Middle East and Africa. His broad experience in the regions and involvement with various industries will bring additional depth to what is already a very strong practice group.’
