Planned through an 18-month consultation, the Manchester office in the UK will be centred around support delivered through IT and technology. There will also be a financial analysis group which will help European practice and geographic heads get the best out of their resources.

Rod Harrington, chief administrative office for Europe, said: 'It's a long-term play, we've not been forced to do this for short-term cost cutting reasons, it's about dealing with the significant growth at the firm which we expect to continue.
