The Law Society of Ireland is recruiting a Representation and Member Services Manager for a nine-month contract. Reporting to the Director General and the Deputy Director General of the Law Society of Ireland, the Representation and Member Services Manager will be responsible for communications, marketing, media relations, event management, and member services project management for the Law Society. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience in a broad range of communications’ disciplines, ideally in a membership organisation. Experience leading a team and successfully delivering large, high profile projects is a must. Preference will be shown to candidates with a wide range of experience across all disciplines of communications and member services.

Communications

Key responsibilities include communications, marketing and media; event management; member services and team management. At least 10 years’ professional experience at a senior level in communications and demonstrated success across all communications’ disciplines is required - especially in media relations and marketing.Professional experience in a membership organisation is an advantage. Strong experience managing and leading teams of professional staff and project management experience of large scale, high profile communications and/or member services projects are also sought.
