Data and privacy issues are increasingly problematic for luxury companies, with one in three saying that they have taken legal advice on the matter. Regulatory issues also show no sign of abating, with 57 per cent reporting an increase, while one in ten have reported an increase in bribery and corruption matters. Global luxury law leaders will discuss the implications of these issues for the luxury sector at the Luxury Law Summit on 17 May. Chris Morton, founder and CEO of Lyst, will discuss the opportunities and perils of data for the sector, while Fendi legal and compliance head Lorenzo Maria di Vecchio will join other general counsel to discuss current issues for luxury companies.
