Citing concerns over potential conflicts of interest, a San Francisco property partner and two other lawyers are bailing out of McKenna Long to join the 60-strong real estate team at Arent Fox.

Partner Timothy Tosta, counsel Steve Atkinson and associate Frank R Petrilli are joining Arent. Mr Tosta is known for his work on the Facebook HQ. Arent has some 400 attorneys in four US offices - in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington, DC. Real estate specialists around the world have expressed concern that they will lose work because of the greater number of conflicts of interest that large firm mergers will bring. McKenna Long & Aldridge is in the process of merging in with Dentons, the largest law firm in the world. Source: Arent Fox
