Some 30 staff – including partners and senior lawyers – were immediately snapped up by rival firms as soon as Semple Fraser collapsed, reports the Herald Scotland.

New jobs

Although 25 lawyers and 37 support staff lost their jobs when the administrator, RSM Tenon, was called in on 8 March, 18 of the lawyers have since found new positions.
It is not known how many of the support staff have found new jobs.
RSM Tenon’s Tom MacLennan told the newspaper: ‘We are pleased at the progress made since the administration and grateful to those firms that have moved so quickly to provide employment for former staff.’
