The firm took top spot after 17,000 associates contributed their opinions to the researchers of Vault.com about their places of work. Nor is it a sweatshop with the firm also getting number one place for fairness over hours. It knocked Williams & Connolly from first place last year to third this year  but the Washington  DC firm came was also awarded top marks in seven categories.Meanwhile Ropes & Gray, which holds the number two spot, was awarded first place for its formal training.
