Second CWT partner leaves for Simmons in HK

Corporate partner Joseph Lee has re-joined UK firm Simmons & Simmons from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft's Hong Kong Office. It is the firm's second such hire in a month, following the appointment of capital markets partner David Neuville.

Simmons & Simmons continues to expand in Hong Kong

Mr Lee specialises in private equity, M&A and securities, with a focus on Hong Kong IPOs. He also advises on corporate governance, corporate restructuring and compliance issues. Mr Neuville specialises in capital markets, both equity and debt. His practice focuses on the representation of issuers and underwriters in global offerings of securities. Mr Lee and Mr Neuville are returning to Simmons, having practiced at the firm together as partners from 2004 to 2006, and will be based in the Hong Kong office. Both have moved from Cadwalader in Hong Kong and bring with them a team of associates who will join over the coming weeks. Simmons & Simmons now has 18 partners in Hong Kong.
