Senior lawyers pessimistic and ready to exit profession

Many senior lawyers are so disillusioned with the state of the UK legal profession that they are planning to stand down in the next few years.

A survey of 500 of the UK's 'most senior legal professionals', commissioned by law firm Hodge Jones & Allen, has founded widespread disillusion. The respondents were asked about the way the justice system is developing - through Legal Aid changes, for example, and sentencing reforms.
