The firms formalised their combination yesterday, having announced their intention to merge last November. Reflecting the heritage of the Rodyk name, Dentons’ Singapore Region will be known as Dentons Rodyk.

Practice boosts

The new Singapore Region boosts the practices of Corporate, Finance, Intellectual Property and Technology, Litigation and Arbitration, and Real Estate.

Global reach

The firm says that its global approach remains unchanged, suggesting that local names will not be routinely appended for future mergers. Dentons is the largest law firm in the world by headcount, with 7,300 lawyers serving more than 55 countries and 85 offices in the Pacific Rim alone.
