Davis Polk & Wardwelll has been paying the highest newly-qualified salaries in the UK capital- pegged at £100,000. As the other Magic Cirlce firms announce, it will be interesting to see if Freshfields (paying £67,000 over the last year) seeks to remain the top-payer in the Magic Circle.
