Top 30 Chinese law firms see boom in revenue growth

All of the top 30 Chinese law firms, bar one, saw 'stellar' growth over the last year, according to The Lawyer China Elite 2015. Beijing-based Han Kun had the strongest growth, with its revenue jumping by 78 per cent.

Dacheng, the spouse-to-be of Dentons, is the largest firm by turnover, generating RMB2.25bn in 2014. But with 3,113 lawyers, its average revenue by lawyer is comparatively low, putting it in 28th place out of the 30 firms in the table. King & Wood Mallesons comes second by turnover, with revenue of RMB1.75bn. 

Specialist firm tops revenue by lawyer league

Beijing-based Tiantong & Partners topped the report by revenue per lawyer, at RMB3.16m. It specialises in high-end commercial disputes, and has just 19 lawyers in its sole office. Source: The Lawyer
