Over half of law firm websites miss consumer opportunities

Some 56 per cent of the websites of the top 200 UK law firms are not responsive to potential consumers who visit them via mobile phones.

This is one of the conclusions of a study carried out by mmadigital. Since a third of online searches for legal terms are made through a mobile device, the law firms may be neglecting their commercial opportunities. Dez Derry, CEO of mmadigital, said: ‘It’s a simple fact that clients want to find legal services online and they’re also doing it more while on the move. Having a basic web presence is not enough anymore; law firms need to establish well thought-out digital marketing strategies that reflect the way clients want to buy and interact.’ Source: Legal Futures
