Unleashing the secrets of marketing

A masterclass for partners will look at other professional services firms to gain insights into their methodology for business development.


Twenty per cent of partners in law firms claim to be mystified about the future whilst around two in three are expecting big changes, according to research by the Global Legal Post. With that in mind, the Lawyer’s Business Development Club' is running a masterclass by a US top executive coach  to help lawyers deal with  business development in this new age.
‘What other professional services firms know about business development that lawyers don’t’ is being hosted by Michael Melcher later this month in London and Dublin.

The creative lawyer

One of the US’s leading executive coaches, Mr Melcher has written an ABA-published book ‘The Creative Lawyer: A Practical Guide to Authentic  Satisfaction’ , a step-to-step guide to creating a more fulfilling and successful career.  A trained lawyer, his clients include Google, David Polk & Wardwell, BNP Paribas and Pfizer.The events will be held in Dublin on 29 and 30th October and in London on 31st and 1st November.The Lawyers’ Business Development Club was set up by Colin Carroll to help lawyers learn about business, management, interpersonal and client development skills.  For further information, click on the link.
