Nigel Cannings qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and went on to work at London-based law firms Withers and Slaughter and May. He was also in house at US technology business NCR and general counsel at BEA (now part of Oracle). Since, he has invested in niche technology firms and is currently chief technology officer at Chase ITS, a London-based voice recognition and compliance analysis business
