The Chinese approval went smoothly, and there is no need for Microsoft to change its patent practices.  Microsoft is paying €5.4b ($7.4b) to take over Nokia, an Finnish telecoms company.  With its new acquisition, Microsoft may be planning to break into the mobile phone market to compete with Apple in another arena.  Source: Economic Times
