GC leaves tech company after cost reduction exercise

Dean Ferris has left Tesco Corporation 'on good terms' and as a 'consequence of ongoing cost reduction exercises among senior management', according to the supplier of IT solutions to the energy sector.

Mihial 'Dean' Ferris held the roles of general counsel, senior vice president and corporate secretary at the Houston-based business. He said: 'I want to acknowledge the tremendous growth, both professional and personal, which these years at Tesco afforded me in preparation for my next challenges. I wish Tesco all the best in this parting.'
