Curitss-Wright promoted Paul Ferdanzi, its former HR vice president, to general counsel and corporate secretary.  He replaces Michael Denton, who retired in February. Ferdenzi specializes in securities, banking and finance, corporate governance, employment and real estate.  Source: Compliance Week

Dennis L. Schoff, an attorney specializing in financial services, will join Ohio National as general counsel and senior vice president beginning 31 March.  Before his appointment, Schoff  was senior vice president and general counsel of Trustmark Companies since 2010.

On Monday, Texas-based company HMS Holdings Corp. named Gene DeFelice as its new executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary.  President and CEO William C. Lucia said: “Gene is a seasoned general counsel with legal expertise that spans a broad spectrum of areas relevant to the company and our industry.”  Source: Market Watch

Former Burges Salmon banking and transport partner Sandra Forbes made the switch to corporate. Coach company National Express hired Forbes to replace general counsel Michael Hampson.  Forbes was the fist female department head at Burges Salmon.  Source: The Lawyer

General counsel Helena Woodcock was promoted to CEO of  Svenska Tonsättares Internationella Musikbyrå (STIM).  When Kenth Muldin resigned from his position of CEO at Swedish music rights organisation STIM, the company promoted GC Helena Woodcock to the post.  She started at STIM in 2008. Source: The Lawyer
