Bakers decide to beef up team in domestic back yard

Baker & McKenzie is putting into effect a growth plan for its North American presence, recognising that only 8 of its 77 offices are located in the US.

Only 15 per cent of its lawyers are located in the US - the lowest proportion among the top ten grossing American law firms. Chair Eduardo Leite says: 'North America is key for us, and we have a North American growth plan'.
