Hogan Lovells real estate Warsaw team departs to Greenberg Traurig

US law firm Greenberg Traurig has hired 11 lawyers from the Warsaw office of Hogan Lovells including the head of real estate.

The Warsaw office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig has added 11 members to its practice. Hogan Lovells head of real estate, Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch, joins Greenberg along with her team including partner Agata Jurek-Zbrojska, two local partners Matgorzata Madej-Balcerowska and Justyna Szwech and seven associates. Greenberg Traurig’s real estate team in Warsaw will be headed up by Ms Nowakowska-Zimoch.The new 40 strong group marks a quantum leap in the growth of the firm’s pan-European real estate offering with approximately 170 lawyers across offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Warsaw, and a strategic alliance in Milan.

'I have been observing with great interest the development of Greenberg Traurig’s real estate practice for the past two years and I know it will be a tremendously exciting experience to be a member of this team,' Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch said.  She brings more than 30 years of legal experience in real estate, focusing her practice on real estate transactions and financing of real estate projects. She has extensive experience in major transactions concerning commercial, office, and logistic properties and cross-border transactions.
