Alicia is an associate of McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes, specialising in insolvency, commercial and civil litigation. She began her legal studies at the College of The Bahamas (as it then was) where she obtained an Associate of Arts Degree. She then attended the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law with Business in 2014 and subsequently completed the Bar Professional Training Course at City University in 2015. Alicia was called to the Bar of England and Wales and the Bar of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in 2015. Alicia obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in International Dispute Resolution, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law, and a Master of Laws degree in Maritime Law. Alicia subscribes to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism and is known for her competence and efficiency in achieving favourable results.
