Allison Nelson

Allison Nelson works in Foley’s Intellectual Property practice area and is a member of the firm’s Trademark, Copyright, and Advertising Practice Group. Allison worked as a summer associate at Foley, executing legal research addressing trademark, copyright, and advertising law on issues including trademark and copyright infringement, right of publicity, and pharmaceutical trademarks. During law school, Allison served as a student attorney at the UIC Law Community Enterprise & Solidarity Community Clinic, gaining experience drafting bylaws and amending articles of incorporation for a non-profit organization. Additionally, Allison has experience working as a law clerk at a law firm where she conducted extensive legal research addressing corporate and entertainment law on issues including anti-trust litigation, escheat laws, trade secrets, and inevitable disclosure doctrine.
