Dr. Babatunde Ajibade is the Managing Partner of S. P. A. Ajibade & Co, a leading corporate and commercial law firm with offices in Lagos, Ibadan, and Abuja, Nigeria. He is a dispute resolution specialist, with extensive expertise in commercial litigation and international commercial arbitration. He is a member of the ICC Africa Commission, a Director of ICC Nigeria, a Director of LACIAC, and a member of the Lagos Court of Arbitration. He currently serves as Chairman of the International Bar Association’s Section on Public and Professional Interest and has held leadership roles on several professional committees. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1989, holds an LLM (1990) and a PhD (1996) from King’s College London. He was appointed Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2007, received the IBA International Practice Fellowship in 2009, and was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) in 2015.
