Fareed heads the Corporate/M&A practice at Feras Al Shawaf Law Firm and has over 14 years of experience in advising local and international clients on complex and high-value transactions. His areas of expertise include cross-border and local mergers and acquisitions (M&A), banking/finance laws, power projects, joint ventures, anti-trust laws, regulatory issues, foreign investments, exchange control regulations and construction laws. While a Corporate Lawyer, Fareed advises clients on the drafting and negotiation of arbitration clauses on a regular basis and keeps a keen eye on developments in this practice area. Fareed completed his LLB (Hons) from the University of London in 2008 and completed his Bar Vocational Training from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2009.
