Gabriel Khoury is a Senior Legal Counsel at Silk Legal, advising clients across the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council on cryptocurrency, digital assets, and financial regulation. With over a decade of experience in financial services law, he specialises in project structuring, token issuance, and blockchain forensic investigations. Before joining Silk Legal, Gabriel served as Head of Legal and Compliance at SHUAA Capital, where he led company setups in the ADGM, managed FSRA compliance, and advised on mergers and acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he spent nine years with Standard Chartered Bank in the DIFC, advising on corporate and private banking with a focus on regional regulatory compliance. Gabriel holds a JD from Saint Joseph University, a master’s in international project management from ESCP Business School, and an Executive LLM from IE/Northwestern University. He is a member of the Beirut Bar Association and fluent in Arabic and French.
