Ingrid Lecordier-Marie Joseph regularly appears before the courts of Mauritius and acts for both domestic and international clients in high-value and high-stakes corporate and commercial disputes, including complex contentious insolvency matters.

Her court practice includes the drafting of pleadings, and the conduct of trials and hearings. She has considerable experience before judges at first instance and in appellate proceedings.

In addition to court litigation, her practice also extends to arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, in which she represents clients in commercially sensitive and legally complex disputes. She has gained overseas experience in Melbourne, Australia, where she was involved in dispute resolution proceedings and the drafting of pleadings and written submissions.

Ingrid is routinely instructed to chair and conduct disciplinary proceedings and has particular expertise in contentious workplace disputes, including workplace harassment matters and internal investigations.
