Katia Pallares is an Associate in the Corporate & Commercial Law, M&A, Environment, Social & Governance (ESG), and Securities & Capital Markets practice areas at Morgan & Morgan. She has participated in high-profile corporate transactions, including acquisition financing, bond and securities issuances, and mergers and acquisitions, developing expertise in both the legal and financial aspects of these operations. Her practice combines complex contract negotiation and drafting with a comprehensive understanding of capital markets and corporate regulation. She also advises clients on regulatory and compliance matters, including permits, licenses, authorizations, and registrations required for business operations and the execution of projects and transactions. Katia maintains a strong focus on ESG, supporting clients in developing corporate policies that promote positive social and environmental impact. She graduated magna cum laude in Law and Political Science from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua, Panama, and holds a Master of Laws and a Wharton Business and Law Certificate (University of Pennsylvania).
