Louis is part of the International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Practice of Liedekerke Law Firm in Belgium. He represents clients in cross-border disputes and international arbitrations, primarily in the fields of construction, corporate/M&A, and commercial contracts. Louis also acts as counsel before state courts in civil and commercial disputes, as well as in enforcement and setting-aside proceedings involving issues of public international law and immunities. He has developed particular experience acting both for and against states, sovereign entities, and international organisations. Beyond his litigation practice, Louis advises clients on a wide range of private and public international law matters, as well as on international sanctions. He is also a member of the firm’s ESG Solutions Team, focusing on business and human rights, due diligence, and climate-related matters. Louis is a Teaching Assistant in private international law at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
