Magdalini (Magda) Patiti is the Founder and Managing Partner of Magdalini Patiti & Partners, a boutique law firm based in Athens, Greece. She regularly advises high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) on all aspects of tax law, estate planning and real estate. Magda has represented HNWIs before Greek Tax Authorities in the frame of tax inspections and high-profile tax audits (Lagarde List, UBS List) and has successfully taken on litigation against the Greek State in multi-million tax disputes. In the field of real estate law, she has represented institutional investors and foreign funds in emblematic projects realised in Greece with the construction and acquisition of malls, office space buildings, leisure parks, and trophy estates on the Greek islands. Magda also regularly advises HNWIs and shipping clients on estate planning with cross-border elements and the setting up of appropriate structures. Magda recently successfully represented a shipping family in cross-border arbitration concerning the governance of a foreign Foundation and the interpretative aspects of the Founder’s wishes. She graduated from the Law School of Athens and has specialised in Fiscal State Aid Law at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. She is a certified International Tax Law Expert and holds the Advanced Professional Certificate in International Taxation of IBFD, Netherlands. Magda is also an Academician of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
