Marcin Lewoszewski is a legal advisor, and member of the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw. Before joining the firm, he worked for over seven years as part of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications team with one of the leading international law firms based in Warsaw. Prior to this, he worked for the Polish Data Protection Authority (GIODO) for two years. He is recognised by Chambers and Partners as one of the leading data privacy lawyers in Poland (Band 2). On regulatory matters, Marcin advises leading brands operating on the global media and telecommunications market, including in the field of OTT (over-the-top) services (media streaming, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol)). He is the author of several dozen articles on the subject of personal data protection; he is published, among others, in the Polish edition of the Harvard Business Review, in Rzeczpospolita, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, and abroad in BNA Bloomberg, IAPP PrivacyTracker and DataGuidance. He is the co-author of the chapter in the book on Polish regulations on the protection of personal data ‘The Law Reviews: the Privacy, Data Protection and Cybersecurity’.
