Oleksandr Onishchenko is Partner at IMPACTA LAW and Head of the Domestic Litigation practice.

Oleksandr has over 25 years of experience in dispute resolution and is a recognised expert in banking litigation, debt recovery and distressed assets. His practice covers all stages of working with non-performing loans, including pre-trial negotiations and restructurings, court proceedings on debt recovery and invalidation of transactions, insolvency proceedings, as well as enforcement and execution proceedings.

He advises leading Ukrainian and international companies on recovery of debts from corporate and individual debtors, enforcement of security, and counteracting sham transactions and asset dissipation schemes. Oleksandr has extensive experience in representing creditors in insolvency proceedings and regularly acts for clients in civil, commercial and administrative courts at all instances, including the Supreme Court of Ukraine.

Oleksandr also has experience in legislative and regulatory work and has participated in the development of draft regulations in the field of transport infrastructure. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he has been actively involved in providing pro bono legal assistance to servicemen, veterans and their families.
