Philippe Sylvestre has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2014 and joined the firm Brucher Thieltgen & Partners in 2021. He has been a Partner since 2024. With 10 years of experience, he assists the firm’s clients in corporate and commercial law, particularly in shareholder disputes and debt recovery. He has developed significant expertise in supporting companies in financial difficulty, through restructuring or insolvency procedures. He co-leads the Restructuring & Insolvency Procedures department. He is a recognised figure in the Luxembourg associative sector and the legal field. He is a member of the Luxembourg Association of Judicial Representatives, Legal Mondo and INSOL Europe. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the Luxembourg Bar Association (Conseil de l’Ordre). Additionally, committed to sharing his knowledge, Philippe has taught at the École de Commerce et de Gestion de Luxembourg and at the Luxembourg Chambre des Métiers. He regularly contributes as a speaker and author on his areas of expertise: insolvency, asset recovery and corporate litigation.
