Rachel is a Partner in William Fry’s Technology Group and has advised on a variety of data protection/privacy matters to clients from various industries. Her extensive experience ranges from advising on global data protection projects, complex data transfers, multi-jurisdictional personal data breaches/cyber incidents and reputation management, regulatory inquiries and investigations, individual complaints/rights requests, data subject claims/privacy litigation, and day-to-day data protection compliance matters. She regularly advises clients on cybersecurity matters including NIS2 compliance and is a serving member of a national cyber taskforce. She also advises on emerging issues and trends such as the AI Act’s interplay with the GDPR, the privacy implications of AI technologies and regulatory enforcement trends. She authored the manual on data protection and AI for a Training and Certification body, PDP and is a regular trainer on its AI and Data Protection course in Ireland. Rachel is ranked in the Legal 500 EMEA 2026 as a Next Generation partner.
