Robert Walker is a partner in Allens’ Competition, Consumer and Regulatory team, and leads Allens’ Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector. He advises clients in relation to Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) merger clearances, ACCC competition law investigations and litigation and competition law risk and compliance. Robert has extensive experience securing ACCC merger clearances on complex deals and running merger litigations. In 2024, Robert was listed by Global Competition Review as one of GCR’s 40s under 40, acknowledging the exceptional contribution to competition law by the next generation. Prior to joining Allens, Robert spent seven years in London and Brussels where his practice focused on large cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions and antitrust investigations.
