Ronit J. Berkovich is Co-Chair of the Restructuring Department at Weil, Gotshal & Manges. She has represented major clients in some of the largest Chapter 11 cases in U.S. history, including General Motors, Lehman Brothers, and WorldCom. Her practice spans in- and out-of-court restructurings, cross-border matters, and advisory work for Fortune 500 companies. Ronit has particular expertise in restructuring strategies for managing litigation claims, including mass torts and government claims, and has a deep knowledge of insolvency laws as applied to cryptocurrency companies. She has received several prestigious awards/recognitions for her work, including being ranked by Chambers, IFLR1000, Legal 500, Turnarounds & Workouts, The American Lawyer, and Crain’s New York Business, among others. Ronit is a member of the National Bankruptcy Conference and the UJA Federation of New York’s Lawyers Executive Committee.
