Ryan Kitcat is a partner in Bowmans Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions Practice. He specialises in public and private M&A and general corporate and commercial law and has advised on a variety of local and cross-border transactions. He has extensive experience in the energy and natural resources, education, mining, insurance, hospitality, private security, and telecommunications sectors. His expertise extends to corporate governance, empowerment and local content, reorganisations, shareholder activism and takeovers. Ryan has BA and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town, an LLM from the University of Florida in the United States, and has completed the Impact Investing in Africa course from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business.
