Sascha Hödl is a partner at Schoenherr, focusing on M&A, public takeovers and corporate restructurings. He has been involved in high-profile public takeover transactions in Austria and continuously represents domestic and international blue chips in highly publicised M&A deals in Austria and the CEE region. During the global financial crisis, Sascha represented Austrian banks in national bailouts and wind-down processes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he assisted the Republic of Austria in structuring the financial aid measures to the Austrian economy. Sascha graduated from the University of Graz, Austria, was admitted to the Austrian Bar in 2001 and is a graduate from Harvard Law School (LLM, 2000). Sascha is a lecturer on international M&A transactions at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
