Stavros Pavlou is the Executive Chairman of Patrikios Legal with over 35 years’ experience in corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration. He represents major local and international clients in complex dispute resolution matters in courts, tribunals and arbitration centres in Cyprus and abroad. Stavros is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR), a practicing Barrister before the Commercial Court of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and a member of many international associations including the International Bar Association (IBA), the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA). Furthermore, in 2024, he achieved two professional appointments: (i) he has been appointed as a Regional Representative for the Middle East for the IBA Litigation Committee for the term 2024–2025; and (ii) he has been appointed as a Delegate to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Commission on Arbitration and ADR for the 2024–2027 term by the ICC Cyprus National Committee. Finally, he actively participates in international seminars, webinars and conferences as a speaker/panellist and he authors numerous articles in international publications relating to dispute resolution and arbitration matters.
