Yasuyuki Kuribayashi is one of the founding partners of City-Yuwa Partners. He has extensive experience in the area of banking, finance and investment funds. Yasuyuki has advised major Japanese securities lending companies in their securities lending and repo transactions, and represented one of the leading rating agencies in connection with structured finance issues, such as asset backed securities (ABS), commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS) and commercial paper (CP) programs in Japan. He has advised and represented a major bank in its Euro Medium-Term Note (EMTN) program, the issuance of senior notes and green bonds and also advised and represented Japanese investment managers and investment funds, offshore investment funds and hedge funds with regard to fund formation, operation and other regulatory matters. He has also been acting as a supervisory officer for Japanese Real Estate Investment Trusts (J-REITs). Yasuyuki is admitted to practice in Japan and New York. He received his LL.B. from Osaka University and his LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
