With the money, Clio will employ another 100 workers and expand its sales in Europe, the US, and Canada. The windfall comes from many investors, including Bessemer Venture Partners. Clio founder Jack Newton said that Clio users save an average of eight hours per week, and that the funding will help the tech company to expand the home market and outwards, so that lawyers can continue to focus on the parts of their business they enjoy.
